Sue has spent her life farming on the edge of the central wheatbelt, just north of Beacon, where she’s surrounded by breathtaking bushland and vibrant wildflowers that bloom in season. It’s here, among the flowers and solitude, that many of her heartfelt songs have taken root.
Now finding time to nurture her lifelong love of music, Sue sings alongside her talented daughter, Amber. Her songwriting prowess has earned her accolades, with two out of three of her recent entries in the WAM Song of the Year competition making the top 20 finalists. She also contributed to the acclaimed 2019 WAM Wheatbelt Songwriters CD.
Recent performances at events like Women of Song and the Chapman Valley Music Festival have been met with glowing feedback, further fuelling her passion and drive to share her music. Currently in the studio recording new material, Sue is thrilled to make her debut performance at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, where she’s sure to captivate audiences with her unique blend of storytelling and song.
