Irish born artist Jonny Reid hails from the small town of Portaferry in the north east coast of
the Emerald Isle. In 2024, he was awarded the West Australian Country Music Awards for
both ‘Male Artist of The Year’ and The ‘People’s Choice’ for 2024.
Taking you back 2021 saw the release of his long-awaited Debut album ‘Another Life’ which
reached number 1 on iTunes Country Australia and number 3 on the All Genres Chart.
That success saw Reid play to sold out headline shows in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland &
Australia throughout 2022.
Having previously toured and performed together on stage with acts such as Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) Nanci Griffith, The Coronas, Ryan Mcmullan and Hermitage Green, Reid is no stranger to the big stage and delivering unforgettable performances.
What’s more impressive again is the integral tool used to craft these great songs. A custom
designed acoustic guitar Jonny made himself!
Having left school Jonny got a job as a luthier in Ireland working for the prestigious George
Lowden guitars hand crafting some of the world’s finest guitars for Artists such as Van Morrison, Ed Sheeran and snow patrol among many many more.

Bono (Avril Lavigne/Blink 182) creating a very fresh 2023 radio friendly sound. Jonny Reid released his new single ‘The Last To Go’ in May and with dates in Australia, the UK and his beloved Ireland 2024 was to be his biggest yet.
