Broken Horses is a dynamic four-piece cover band from Boyup Brook, featuring Brandy Newton on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Tara Spencer on lead guitar, Sharon Lampard on bass, and Jesse Shortis on drums.

Brandy is also a talented singer-songwriter and accomplished live music artist, known for her captivating performances. Both Tara and Jesse are trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, adding a polished edge to the band’s sound.

Originally formed as a 90s-inspired group, Broken Horses has expanded their style to include country music, drawing inspiration from artists like Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton, and Sheryl Crow.
